Finnished the big guys normalmap. Had some trouble getting good bakes, but nothing a little trail and error couldn’t sort out. Here’s a few pics;

Nebez Villa Progress 4

Here the villa again. I’m done with the geometry finally. Now with less Bevelâ„¢ (at select places).

I baked out an ambient occlusion as well for it. Incidentally, I am also done with the diffuse(/albedo/whateveryouwanttocallit). Here are some screenshots with the baked ambient occlusion+diffuse.

Programming progress

This week I have been restructuring the loading of a map from file. I’ve been optimizing the rendering and tried out some different methods for it, haven’t decided yet which is the best. I also got the sound to work.
