Walk cycle

Today I began animation the big guy with a simple walkcycle, Half way through i realized that I had made a big mistake and had to start over, but I think he will be walking in the near future.

Animation & Collision

We got the animation to work in Ogre. Collision between the characters and the ground is also working smoothly.

AI: I am thinking, therefore I exist

This week the basics of an goal-oriented AI has been written. The structure is up and running and it works well. Every AI-agent has a priority-queue, in wich it add goals it wants to accomplish. Completing a goal causes the next goal to be proritized.
It’s still simple but a good foundation to start from and just add content too.

The other thing that has taken time this and last week has been writing the design document. It’s not complete yet, but everything that has been decided concerning the gameplay is pretty much there. The only things lacking is details concerning audio and some flowcharts for game menues.
I will add that content as fast those details are decided.

Im a BaaaadMaaan

I fixed some minor issues with the rig after some rigerous testing from Fredrik Lindbom I felt I had to fix them before publishing it, And I just had to play around with it, Here he is with a tommy gun with creds to Mikael Andersson for his super tommy gun with normal map Ü, this is just an exclusive view of the big guy with a temporary prop Ü
