I’ve taken the comments I’ve got into consideration and worked some more on my walkcycle. It is a bit slow, but dont have time to fix now =)
I have recieved some comments regarding the tilting of the hip when he walks. Humans and other mammals tilt their pelvis when they walk because the foot that is on the ground pushes the hip on that side up and the leg that’s in the air pulls the hip down. They can do this because of the lumbar section of the spine. The lumbar section allows twisting between the ribcage and pelvis.
This type of dinosaurs does not have the lumbar section of the spine, much like the birds of today. They pretty much have the ribcage stuck into the pelvis. According to David Krentz (Drawing Dinosaurs: Anatomy and Sketching). Dinosaurs like this; “walked like ducks, just not as silly…”

Definitely tighter, and those three sections do feel a lot tighter and more connected.
Could you post a view of the same animation, looking from the back as well (like you did before?).
The weight transfer seems a little stiff in this one, but it’s easier to evaluate from the rear angle.
Thanks, Dayne

Hey!, looking good, great work dude. hope you did not try to understand my comments for to long, I just went through them and don’t understand a single word, I’m sure it made total sense when I first wroth them.
think Dane is right, looks a bit stiff, but I would not pay any atention to this untill you fixed the speed, when you make it faster it will look smother.
anyway, just finished all my stuff here at work for Christmas, of to Sweden in a couple of hours. I’m actually going to skelleftea at some point to see some friends, if any of you guys are still there let me know so we can go out for a beer!
