
I’m now finished with the model. I’ve baked out normal and displacement map and been spending some time painting out unwanted seams and building shader networks. I’ve also started making my texture map.
I’m constantly tweaking the lighting and doing testrenders/comps. Here is a test I did today. Some shadow problems wich need to be taken care of.

Here’s a pic of my node network in fusion. I hope it will keep growing as the project moves forward. It will be the ultimate test of my organising skills, haha :)


This is it! This is done for now. I’m not saying it’s the final version but I am leaving it now to move onto creating blendshapes and muscle rigging. =)

I’ve taken in all the feedback I got and here’s the updated version. Still have to do arms and stuff… =)

Now I’ve animated the whole scene. It is not done yet, still have some tweaking and I will animate the arms and claws etc. Tell me what you think NOW as I dont have too much time left to change things. =)

I’ve now done the part where he exits the scene. The searching part has also been updated. I modified how he curls his feet when just walking, less curl and more lift. He plants his foot down faster and reacts with all of his body when he hears the “sound” and then crouches down. I also made his movement into the roar faster.
