Vehicle Prototyping

The vehicles will be constructed by combining separate parts and blending between models. Here is the first prototype blending between two different models made in Maya 2008.

Oldschool 3D

As a fun side-project we have discussed the possibility of adding stereoscopic rendering to the game. Nothing is set in stone but if we find the time we will add this feature as an optional setting.
The following image shows a test scene rendered in two passes. A pair of standard Red-Cyan 3D glasses are required to get the depth perception.

Physics!

We got jiglibX working after some difficulties. It is only a matter of time before we have a vehicle racing along the track.

jiglibX is a physics engine. It is a C#/XNA port of jiglib, originally written in c++.

Spectrum Analyzer

I have made a simple spectrum analyzer which will most likely make an appearance in our main menu.
