Finished up
Today i finished the attacking animation. A friend of mine was sitting next to me and helped me with some ideas to make the animation look more reallistic, when the character swings to get it look like a circle rotation on the attack.
I also finished up with the Ground floor on the first level and i am currently working on the boss room.

Ok, yeah. I broke it.
I created the project at school, so I got the source for the Torque engine, but as I didn’t have it on my laptop it was “Unavailable” and showed a dialogue that pointed that out every time I started VS, so I removed it. I mean, what harm could it do? A lot apparently. I hadn’t comitted it before doing that, so I now had a project that refused to work. That was yesterday. Now it’s almost working again, the camera has stopped following the character though. And the zombie has stopped moving.

Attacking animation.
Started working with the attacking animation and its working quite well, needs a few finnishing touches before its done though.
Later this week, I will continue on the level design and finish with the last floors.
Basicly just finnish up all graphic parts this week so i can begin making sounds next week.
Week 20
The plan for this week is to:
Start to actually animate the character and zombies.
Add the ability to actually hurt the zombies and for them to hurt the player.
Make the zombies change directions when the player is on the other side of them.
Find out how to use sounds.
Start playing around with particle effects for blood (ok, yeah, zombies’ blood are probably coagulated and not splashing around too much, but what fun is that?)
Toy around with splash screens, HUD and GUI.
Ok, yeah… I’m not going to finish all of this this week, but some of it.
Moving around
Yeah, so the character moves very nicely and the camera moves with him, now there’s level design, zombies, animations and GUI left. Or something like that. I’m not quite sure how to do the level design yet, if we should make large levels or smaller ones we switch between more often.
We will have a meeting later today to set the goals for the week and coming weeks.
