Week update: DVD Cover
This week I have been working with the DVD cover to the game.
This is the result:
No problems when working with the cover, it went smoothly.

Gridmonkey progress
Since we’re done with everything, and most things work we’ve spent the weak hunting bugs and improving the visual elements of the game.
Amongst other details we’ve fixed annoying collisions, buggy environmental maps (on weapons), troublesome particles that didn’t work properly and we’ve defeated all z-fighters.
Here’s a short intro film on the Chess room by Martin O:Chessroom intro It’s going to play as the room is loading.

Pro-lamers progress
Last week I finished the menus and added a game state manager and game states. I also started working with video files for the intro sequences but had some trouble with the performance so I’ll have to work it out this week along with some traps placement.

Gridmonkey progress
Martin S and Micke has spent the week completing our HUD elements, including animated “on mouse over” effects and subtitles (our game wouldn’t make much sence without them). We might post a fraps:ed ingame video once we fitted everything together.
Martin O has been working on the entertainment bar and the various sprites that are to appear in the game on triggered events, such as score multipliers and boosts etc.
It feels as if the game is finally coming together.. and it will be AWESOME :)
