Apartment (Øyvind)
This week Ive done particles and animation for the pirate in Nebula. Ive also been tweaking textures, lightmaps and occlusion. The original texture files were changed from PSD to DDS for better in-game quality. Ive done a interface/menu background in Photoshop. My room is now 100 % done, the remaining time will be used to improve the interface, and do a trailer.

Boiler Room (Lukas)
This week Ive done particles and animation. The room is now 100 % finished. Ive also found sound effects for my room. I have edited all in-game sfx so they loop, and made sure they all had the same sound level. The original texture files were changed from PSD to DDS to improve quality in game. I have also done a game manual.

Island (Mattias)
This week I have been connecting some loose ends like making a load screen, making a pickup in form of a hammer that the monkey will throw when he runs out of ammo (coconuts), tweaking the particle system and searching for sounds and music

The Tower (Tomas)
This week I have added the particle system (electric sparks) and tweaking the transparency for the windows and lightbulb. I have also converted the textures to .dds format and fixed some minor errors in textures and animations. Additionally, I have been working with sound collecting and editing and I have designed the Cover. The Tower is now 100 % done and the remaining time will be used to work with the trailer.
Below, in the first screenshot, you can see the particle system, although not many particles got caught in this particular (no pun intended) screenshot.



As you can probably tell from our blog not much progress has been made on the programming side of the project.
My apologies to the rest of the team for the slow progress. This is mainly because I have been involved with “Team Arrowhead” in the development of “Magicka” which competed in Swedish Game Awards and was awarded “Game Of The Year”.
Now that the competition is over we will work day and night to ensure that we catch up with the timeplan and finish the game before deadline.
The Tower (Tomas)
Lighting finished. Lightmaps did not come out good in any of the available renderers, so they are painted in photoshop directly on the texture instead. Since the work with the level itself is almost done, I have also constructed a new logo and started working on the cover.

Apartment lighting/occlusion (Øyvind)
Finished the texturing. Almost done with occlusion maps and lighting, tweaking at the moment. I still have to add 2 of the mainlights. These renders contain most of the sunlight and the bouncelight.

Bolier Room particles (Lukas)
Been working on lightmapping and particles, still tweaking a little.

The island (Mattias)
This week I have been working with the particle system and in my case it is smoke from the chimney.

Texturing and Lighting (Tomas)
The texturing of the tower is complete and I have begun working with lighting.

Working with texturing.
