Log 1
I have been studuing other peoples work, and have tried to repaint what they have done just to improve my own painting skills.
I have looked at a few gnomon DVDs, one of them: “Practical Light and Color” Theory and Application with Jeremy Vickery. Really interesting. I have also tried to repaint some of his images and learn more about how the light bounces.
I am not really sure what kind of mood and light i will have in my final pictures. Here are a few examples of paintings that i will use for reference in my final picture:

And here are a few paintings i have made. I have bin trying to repaint other peoples work to improve my skills, so you might recognize a few of them. And there is also a few small composition thumbnails i have made:

I have been studuing other peoples work, and have tried to repaint what they have done just to improve my own painting skills. I have also tried to come up with a good composition for my final mattepainting, but i am not really sure what the final composition is gona look like yet.

Student: Jonas Larsson
Description:
I will study the art of 2d-graphics and try to improve my paintingskills overall, and as a maintask i will make a 2.5D Matte Painting in a cool futuristic environment. In the end I will show the progress what i have learned over the project and how i have managed to aschieve my goals. I hope to have improoved my paintingskills and that i will have a few more paintings to add to my showreel.
