Tokens Completed.

Now I’ve finished the implementation of all the tokens as well as drawn their textures.

Here’s a screenshot where some tokens are spawned at the basic map:

(I have to fix the order that the renderer draws the textures in to avoid drawing things atop of the “fake-3D” boxes…)

Pickable Tokens.

The player is now able to pick up all the tokens that they touch. Currently only a few of them have any effect when they’re touched but the other’s will have their effects applied soon.

Here’s a screenshot where the player have collected a few tokens (the effect is shown in the GUI).

The difference is coloured shields, coloured staves, more life icons (blue hats) and the item bar is filled with items on the top picture.

I’ll try to finish the implementation of rest of the tokens’ effects as well as drawing the rest of the token textures by the end of this week. :)

The Tokens.

Now the obstacles have a chance of spawning a token upon dying, though they can’t be picked by the player yet. Here’s a screenshot of a map where all the obstacles are destroyed:

The white squares with text are just place holders for the tokens that still miss their texture.

The Projectiles.

I’ve now implemented the first projectiles, though currently they can only effect the obstacles that they hit. So next step should be to add the area of effect and to make them affect the player and AI avatars. After that, I’ll start working on the tokens that the destroyed obstacles is supposed to spawn. :)
